Laney's baptism

We had Laney baptized on Sunday. It was such a great day, filled with family and fun! Laney did a great job and slept through the whole thing! :) We had her baptized during the mass, which was extra special. We didn't do that with Matthew... they did it after mass and baptized about 25 babies, it was like an assembly line of babies, not very personal at all! So the mass was a really neat experience, there was only 1 other baby baptized. We had about 35 people there for the baptism and then back to my parents for lunch! It was truly a great day!

Laney Lou!!

Well this post is a little overdue! But most of you that read our blog are also on Facebook so hopefully you have seen the pictures there! Our little Laney Elizabeth was born on October 7, 2010 at 12:56pm. She weighed 7 lbs 11 oz and was 20 inches long. I had a very easy labor/delivery with her! It was actually fun! My sister was there for it all (and of course Ben was too). Our good friend Heidi stopped by as well for a visit! The whole thing lasted about 5 hours! It was great! I could do it again today! Much different than Matthew's birth, thankfully! Laney, or as Matthew refers to her, Laney Lou, is a dream baby so far! i feel like I am going to jinx myself by saying that! She is such a pretty baby and is doing pretty good at night... she gets up every 4 hours. So I feed her around 10 and she gets up around 2 and then not until 6am! We are enjoying EVERY minute of her! It is going WAY too fast and makes me sad that she is getting bigger! I LOVE this stage and wish I could keep her little forever! Matthew is adjusting pretty well! He definitely requires a little more attention from us but that was expected. he LOVES his little sister and stops playing very often to give her kisses! He is very sweet! Below are some pictures of our adventure!
